Vintage kilim rug handwoven in Turkey with hemp fiber. Turkish villagers produced hemp stalk until the 60s when its production was prohibited together with its cousin, medical cannabis. These Anatolian rugs with modern appeal were mostly woven for drying fruits, to store wheat or as floor covers. This minimalistic rug measures 6' 11" x 12' 10" (83" x 154").

We recently ordered a rug from Kilim.com to replace one that we truly loved but that had become a tripping hazard after years of wear and tear.
