For a contemporary look with a vintage appeal, we source hand-knotted area rugs woven in the second half of the 20th century that are in excellent condition and carefully trim the piles to achieve an eye-catching “distressed” look. Bridging generations of artisanal skill with a charming look, they complement any modern or bohemian décor.

Shortly after placing my order, I got an email from Ida with additional photos of the rug I had selected, as she wanted to make sure that I was aware that the rug was a bit more green in undertone than had been reflected in the original photos.
