Woven with wool on cotton foundation, this authentic vintage rug measures 5' 2" x 9' 1" (62" x 109"). For a contemporary look with a vintage appeal, we source hand-knotted area rugs woven in the second half of the 20th century that are in excellent condition and carefully trim the piles to achieve an eye-catching “distressed” look. Bridging generations of artisanal skill with a charming look, they complement any modern or bohemian décor.

Absolute favorite source of rugs!

We recently ordered a rug from Kilim.com to replace one that we truly loved but that had become a tripping hazard after years of wear and tear. I ordered what I thought was the best match for a replacement. Shortly after placing my order, I got an email from Ida with additional photos of the rug I had selected, as she wanted to make sure that I was aware that the rug was a bit more green in undertone than had been reflected in the original photos. I told her what we were looking for and sent a couple of photos of the room where it was going and the rug we were looking to replace, and she sent a couple of other options they also had in similar sizes and colors. In the end, we decided to stick with our original choice, and it arrived in South Carolina from Istanbul just days later, true to the photos she had sent. Overall, we are thrilled with our purchase and will DEFINITELY order from Kilim.com--excellent products and phenomenal customer service!

The vintage Kilim is beyond beautiful

The vintage Kilim is beyond beautiful ! The colors are exactly as depicted, the condition of the carpet is fabulous, the size same as described.
