For a contemporary look with abstract appeal, this gray over-dyed area rug is skillfully crafted by the revitalization of a genuine hand knotted vintage Turkish rug woven in the second half of the 20th century. Woven with wool on cotton foundation, this "distressed" rug measures 6' 4" x 10' 3" (76" x 123"). The process in creating these works of art begins by shearing to lower the pile and to help "distress" them. They then undergo a series of processes to remove the color.
