Vintage Turkish flatweave with jijims hand-woven in Sivas in Central Anatolia in the mid 20th century. These articles are made by sewing together, horizontally and vertically, several weavings of 3-5 different colors for use as drapes, wall-hangings, bedspreads or for other applications where relatively large areas are to be decorated. This piece is in very good condition.
