Vintage kilim rug handwoven in Turkey with hemp fiber. Turkish villagers produced hemp stalk until the 60s when its production was prohibited together with its cousin, medical cannabis. These Anatolian rugs with modern appeal were mostly woven for drying fruits, to store wheat or as floor covers. This minimalistic rug measures 4' 8" x 8' 8" (56" x 104").
We professionally clean all our vintage rugs, but stains are a reminder of the rugs' history.

Great Experience Buying My Office Rug

I needed an area rug for my office and narrowed it down to two colors of Turkish patchwork ones online. At first, I thought that I would order them both, keep the one that I wanted and return the other.But in discussion with the people at Kilim, they offered to superimpose images of my options with pictures I took of the office. The images were amazing! And made my choice obvious.
