Vintage kilim rug handwoven in Turkey with hemp fiber. Turkish villagers produced hemp stalk until the 60s when its production was prohibited together with its cousin, medical cannabis. These Anatolian rugs with modern appeal were mostly woven for drying fruits, to store wheat or as floor covers. This minimalistic beige rug measures 5' 5" x 12' 2" (65" x 146").

I highly recommend this company for the quality of their rugs and for their amazing customer service. I ordered a rug and in the process of it being shipped we were mandatorily evacuated because of hurricane Michael. I envisioned my beautiful rug sitting on our porch getting ruined while we were away. I emailed Kilim and requested they delay shipment and received an immediate response that they would deliver at a later date. We received the rug after the evacuation order ended and we had returned home. It is more beautiful than the pictures online. Kilim was also helpful in the selection process, sending additional pictures that included coordinating colors. I will purchase from Kilim again without a moments hesitation.
