Our "Neo Caspian Kilim Collection" pays a tribute to the kilims of the Mazandaran
region. Mazandaran is the name of a Persian Province situated near the Caspian Sea. Insiders know this region for the thin, winged flatweaves with minimalist designs before their production stopped many decades ago. Like the originals, we are weaving all our Neo Caspians with vegetable dyed, hand spun wool, but use thicker strands
so the rugs lay firmly on the floor. Our Neo Caspian Collection comes in flamed, wavy or striped designs and in natural earthen tones or in bright chromatic colors.
This fine brown rug measures 2' 6" x 8' 10" (30 in. x 106 in.)
and it was woven as a single piece. We can remove the fringes upon request. If you like the design of this rug, but need it in a different size or colors, we can custom make it to meet your requirements.
