For a contemporary look with abstract appeal, this black over-dyed area rug is skillfully crafted by the revitalization of a genuine hand knotted vintage Turkish rug woven in the 60s or 70s. Made from wool on cotton, this rug measures 4' 9" x 12' 4" (57" x 148"). The process in creating these works of art begins by shearing to lower the pile and to help "distress" them. They are then dyed in one color, a stage that can be repeated several times to reach the desired saturation level and hues that complement and contrast the old.

I ordered my Kilim rug on August 5th and received it on August 12th. I couldn't believe how fast it came and with free shipping. It was packaged well.
