Vintage hand-knotted runner woven in Afghanistan in the second half of the 20th century features a long, narrow format with repeating octagonal gul medallions arranged across a deep red field, with dark navy, and muted brown details adding definition and depth. The softened pile, aged surface, and subtle wear give it authentic vintage character, while the bold repeated pattern creates a strong rhythmic effect.
