Woven with wool on cotton foundation, this authentic vintage rug measures 5' 1" x 8' 11" (61" x 107"). For a contemporary look with a vintage appeal, we source hand-knotted area rugs woven in the second half of the 20th century that are in excellent condition and carefully trim the piles to achieve an eye-catching “distressed” look. Bridging generations of artisanal skill with a charming look, they complement any modern or bohemian décor.

Kilim.com upon my request for more color info, took additional pictures with crayons and paint swatches sitting on the carpet. That solidified my choice. The rug arrived quickly and the way it was folded and shipped left the rug without marks when placed on the floor. I wasn’t expecting it to be of the quality of my parents’ thick antique Persian rug and it wasn’t . For the price, I’m pleased with this vintage rug. It has more class and personality than a machine made rug you can find at a big box store.
