Hecha de lana sobre algodón, esta alfombra "angustiada" mide 132 cm x 246 cm. El proceso de creación de estas obras de arte comienza por esquilar para bajar la pila y ayudar a "angustiarlas". Luego se someten a una serie de procesos para eliminar el color. Ahora están listas para ser teñidas en un color, una etapa que puede repetirse varias veces para alcanzar el nivel de saturación deseado y los tonos que complementan y contrastan a los antiguos.

We recently ordered a rug from Kilim.com to replace one that we truly loved but that had become a tripping hazard after years of wear and tear. I ordered what I thought was the best match for a replacement. Shortly after placing my order, I got an email from Ida with additional photos of the rug I had selected, as she wanted to make sure that I was aware that the rug was a bit more green in undertone than had been reflected in the original photos.
