Seleccionamos alfombras turcas vintage anudadas a mano, tejidas en los años 60 y 70 para crear nuestra colección de Alfombras de Retazos sobreteñidas. Lavamos los colores, recortamos las pilas, pero cuidamos de mantener los patrones originales aún vivos. Luego los sobrepasamos con un nuevo color de elección, los cortamos en pedazos más pequeños y cosemos a mano los fragmentos con un hilo resistente. The quality of the rug is very good colours a bit different then Imagined although going back on the website, every thing was there for me to figure the right colours: the picture with the paint chart and the crayon would have been very useful if I had bothered to pay attention. I was hesitant to purchase a rug from pictures on line. The colors within the rug were critical to me. Kilim.com upon my request for more color info, took additional pictures with crayons and paint swatches sitting on the carpet. That solidified my choice. The rug arrived quickly and the way it was folded and shipped left the rug without marks when placed on the floor. I wasn’t expecting it to be of the quality of my parents’ thick antique Persian rug and it wasn’t . For the price, I’m pleased with this vintage rug.
