Nuestras Alfombras de Retazos Vintage Sobreteñidas combinan culturas, tradiciones e historia, creando alfombras maravillosamente únicas. Seleccionamos alfombras turcas vintage anudadas a mano, tejidas en los años 60 y 70 para crear nuestra colección de Alfombras de Retazos sobreteñidas. Lavamos los colores, recortamos las pilas, pero cuidamos de mantener los patrones originales aún vivos. Luego los sobrepasamos con un nuevo color de elección, los cortamos en pedazos más pequeños y cosemos a mano los fragmentos con un hilo resistente. Respaldamos las Alfombras de Retazos con bucarán y una tela de algodón que fortalece la alfombra. La reorganización de los fragmentos transforma la antigua fabricación de alfombras en una obra de arte única adecuada para la configuración contemporánea en el hogar o en oficinas. We recently ordered a rug from Kilim.com to replace one that we truly loved but that had become a tripping hazard after years of wear and tear. I ordered what I thought was the best match for a replacement. Shortly after placing my order, I got an email from Ida with additional photos of the rug I had selected, as she wanted to make sure that I was aware that the rug was a bit more green in undertone than had been reflected in the original photos. I told her what we were looking for and sent a couple of photos of the room where it was going and the rug we were looking to replace, and she sent a couple of other options they also had in similar sizes and colors. In the end, we decided to stick with our original choice, and it arrived in South Carolina from Istanbul just days later, true to the photos she had sent.
