Nuestras Alfombras de Retazos Vintage Sobreteñidas combinan culturas, tradiciones e historia, creando alfombras maravillosamente únicas. Seleccionamos alfombras turcas vintage anudadas a mano, tejidas en los años 60 y 70 para crear nuestra colección de Alfombras de Retazos sobreteñidas. Lavamos los colores, recortamos las pilas, pero cuidamos de mantener los patrones originales aún vivos. Luego los sobrepasamos con un nuevo color de elección, los cortamos en pedazos más pequeños y cosemos a mano los fragmentos con un hilo resistente. Respaldamos las Alfombras de Retazos con bucarán y una tela de algodón que fortalece la alfombra. La reorganización de los fragmentos transforma la antigua fabricación de alfombras en una obra de arte única adecuada para la configuración contemporánea en el hogar o en oficinas. I was hesitant to purchase a rug from pictures on line. The colors within the rug were critical to me. Kilim.com upon my request for more color info, took additional pictures with crayons and paint swatches sitting on the carpet. That solidified my choice. The rug arrived quickly and the way it was folded and shipped left the rug without marks when placed on the floor. I wasn’t expecting it to be of the quality of my parents’ thick antique Persian rug and it wasn’t . For the price, I’m pleased with this vintage rug. It has more class and personality than a machine made rug you can find at a big box store.
