Los aldeanos turcos produjeron tallos de cáñamo hasta la década de 1960, cuando se prohibió su producción junto con su primo, el cannabis medicinal. Estas alfombras de Anatolia con un atractivo moderno fueron tejidas principalmente para secar frutas, almacenar trigo o como cubiertas para pisos. Esta alfombra minimalista mide 160 cm x 328 cm.
