Bu dönüşüm süreci, Anadolu'nun birçok yöresinde evlerde dokunan el halılarının en iyi durumda olanlarının bulunması ile başlar. Daha sonra temizlenen ve havını düşürmek için el makineleri ile traşlanan halıların gerekli bakımları yapılarak satışa sunulur.
