Bu "boyalı" halı, 60'lı veya 70'li yıllarda dokunan orijinal bir el dokuma Isparta halısının özenle dönüştürülmesi ile ortaya çıkmıştır. Yün ve pamuktan dokunan bu halı, 165 cm x 260 cm ölçülerindedir.
Bu dönüşüm süreci, halının havını düşürmek için el makineleri ile traşlamayla başlar. Daha sonra renkleri azaltmak için bir dizi işlemden geçirilirler. Artık tek renkte boyanmaya hazırdırlar. İstenen doygunluk seviyesine ve tonlara ulaşmak için birkaç kez boyanır. I was hesitant to purchase a rug from pictures on line. The colors within the rug were critical to me. Kilim.com upon my request for more color info, took additional pictures with crayons and paint swatches sitting on the carpet. That solidified my choice. The rug arrived quickly and the way it was folded and shipped left the rug without marks when placed on the floor. I wasn’t expecting it to be of the quality of my parents’ thick antique Persian rug and it wasn’t . For the price, I’m pleased with this vintage rug. It has more class and personality than a machine made rug you can find at a big box store.
