I recall very fondly the hospitality of the people in Turkey when I visited Izmit with President Clinton in 1999 after the earthquake. I’m very glad to have this piece in my home to remind me of their warmth and resilience.

Just wanted to let you know that my absolutely stunning carpet arrived today and I could not be happier. It is simply perfect and I am in love! We live in an 1885 Victorian row house in downtown Toronto and the room is long and narrow with lots of doors and a beautiful tiled fireplace. It was very hard to find a rug that worked! It really pulls the room together and is very durable too with a dog and a four year old boy. Thank you, all the best from Toronto, Canada.
