Bu "boyalı" halı, 60'lı veya 70'li yıllarda dokunan orijinal bir el dokuma Isparta halısının özenle dönüştürülmesi ile ortaya çıkmıştır. Yün ve pamuktan dokunan bu halı, 143 cm x 260 cm ölçülerindedir.
Bu dönüşüm süreci, halının havını düşürmek için el makineleri ile traşlamayla başlar. Daha sonra renkleri azaltmak için bir dizi işlemden geçirilirler. Artık tek renkte boyanmaya hazırdırlar. İstenen doygunluk seviyesine ve tonlara ulaşmak için birkaç kez boyanır.
