Bu "boyalı" halı, 60'lı veya 70'li yıllarda dokunan orijinal bir el dokuma Isparta halısının özenle dönüştürülmesi ile ortaya çıkmıştır. Yün ve pamuktan dokunan bu halı, 85 cm x 356 cm ölçülerindedir.
Bu dönüşüm süreci, halının havını düşürmek için el makineleri ile traşlamayla başlar. Daha sonra renkleri azaltmak için bir dizi işlemden geçirilirler. Artık tek renkte boyanmaya hazırdırlar. İstenen doygunluk seviyesine ve tonlara ulaşmak için birkaç kez boyanır. The quality of the rug is very good colours a bit different then Imagined although going back on the website, every thing was there for me to figure the right colours: the picture with the paint chart and the crayon would have been very useful if I had bothered to pay attention.
